Accountability

I had my weigh in yesterday morning and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I had been dreading it for a few days since I knew I had overdone it this last week with all the snacking. I took off every little bit of clothing, jewelry, hair band, etc leaving nothing except my body and hair (I would've shaved it had I had time.) I stepped onto the scale, exhaled every bit of air from my lungs, closed my eyes and said a quick prayer. I opened them back up and to my surprise I had not gained or lost. Whew! That was a close one.

My total weight loss to date is 25 pounds and holding. After the episode on the scale, I quickly dressed myself and decided it was time to get back to eating. Healthy of course. I made a yummy egg, bacon and whole wheat english muffin for breakfast and even splurged with a cup of light oj. I was good and immediately opened up my journal to record what I'd eaten. I haven't done this in over a week. I'm dedicated to journal for the rest of the week since I know this will improve my weightloss.

This morning Mary Kay and I walked three miles in the neighborhood. The weather was beautiful and made me thankful for Springtime.

I thought you looked GREAT in the snow pictures... which you should totally post :)
